Barbara, I'll have to check that out. Can you believe there are some who have never tried a fresh apricot?Kristy, thanks you too!Debbi, we are lucky, our Farmer's market is year round.the lacquer spoon, and Anncoo - I know I love them too!MaryMoh, you can help but want to eat these!Pam, love all the color!Bo, Originally eggplant was only white, hence the name - it looked like eggs hanging from the plant. It has firmer flesh, more seeds, tougher skin, and not as bitter.Cool Lassi(e)- thank you! Lazaro, I love getting local fresh produce, and it's all so colorful!Jeannie, thank you.pigpigscorner, yes white eggplant, it's great, a little sweeter, but you have to peel the tough skin.

One word: summer!
Oh my, can we fix up a few dishes with these produce already? ;p
I guess I'm not the only one strange to the white eggplant? I've had the typical aubergine...however...the ultimate for me personally would be a deep lilac coloured Sicilian eggplant. No center bitterness. I'm always looking forward to the month of August when our markets start showcasing them. Very appealing photos. Would love to have an apricot please ;o)Thank you Lyndsey for your nice visit. Looking forward to hearing from each other.Flavourful wishes, Claudia
